High School Students Win $5,000 Scholarship
Three South Carolina high school students won $5,000 each in an audio podcast scholarship competition sponsored by South Carolina’s electric cooperatives.

Mid-Carolina Donates $23,000 to Charity
Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative is pleased to announce a charitable contribution of $23,000 to two organizations close to the hearts of our cooperative family. The ALS Association is the first of those, supporting, assisting, and caring for victims of Lou Gehrig's disease.
Winter Weather Alert
WINTER STORM UPDATE Sunday, Jan. 25: Thank you, Mid-Carolina members, for being prepared and staying weather-aware this weekend. While the storm did not bring the level of impacts expected in our area, parts of the region are affected, and we remain vigilant as we continue to monitor conditions closely. Mid-Carolina plans to return to normal hours and schedules on Monday. Stay tuned for any updates, and as always, please stay safe!
Winter Weather Updates
Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative offices will be operating on a delay on Monday, February 2, and will open at 10 a.m. due to hazardous road conditions across our service territory. While our offices will open on a delay, our crews and support teams remain on standby and ready to serve you.
