Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative is the owner of this website (this “Site”) and, together with its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively referred to as “MCEC” or “we”), makes the Site available to you. These Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms of Use”)  set forth the terms and conditions that apply to your use of the Site.

1. General Terms
In consideration for using this Site, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, do not use this Site. By using the Site (other than to read these Terms of Use for the first time), you agree to comply with these Terms of Use. MCEC reserves the right to change these Terms of Use from time to time. We suggest that you re-read the Terms of Use (including the Privacy Policy) from time to time so that you stay informed as to any such changes. In any event, by using this Site, you agree that you will be bound by the Terms of Use appearing on this Site at the time you are using the Site. Further, some MCEC services may require you to agree to additional terms and conditions which apply to the specific MCEC services. If you agree to those additional terms and conditions, then those additional terms and conditions also shall form a part of the Terms of Use. You represent and warrant to us that you are age 18 or older.

The right to use the Site is personal to you and is not transferable to any other person or entity. You are responsible for protecting the confidentiality of your password and user name, if you have them.

You acknowledge that the Site may experience service interruptions or events that are beyond MCEC’s control and that MCEC will not be responsible for any information you may lose while you are using the Site or when you transmit information to the Site via the Internet. 9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The customer is responsible for compliance with applicable state laws, local laws and regulations. Access to and use of this Site and the Terms of Use of this site are governed solely and exclusively by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina without regard to principles of conflicts of laws. Your usage of this Site constitutes your consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the federal or state courts sitting in and for Lexington County, South Carolina Further, usage of this Site constitutes your consent to personal jurisdiction in the aforementioned jurisdictions.

10. Severability
If any part of these Terms of Use is unlawful, void or unenforceable, that part will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

11. Waiver of Rights
Any failure by MCEC to enforce any of its rights under these Terms of Use or applicable laws shall not constitute a waiver of such right.

12. Changes to Products and Services; Errors
MCEC may make improvements and/or changes in services and/or the programs described at this Site at any time. As a convenience, notice of such improvements and changes may be posted on this Site. The failure to post notice will not affect the effectiveness of any such improvements or changes or affect MCEC 's right to make such modifications and/or changes.

In the event a product or service is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical errors or errors in pricing or calculating information, MCEC has the right to correct such errors before fulfilling any orders placed for products and/or services listed at the incorrect price

13. Export Control
United States and foreign export control laws regulate the export and re-export of technology originating in the United States and such foreign countries. This Site and its users are governed by these laws and regulations as applicable.
