Credit Card, Debit Card and Electronic Checks
We offer SpeedPay, which allows you to pay your bill by telephone or through SpeedPay's Web site using your checking account, debit card or major credit card. Simply visit their Web site, or call a special toll-free number, 1-866-678-8878, follow a few easy steps and you're on your way. SpeedPay will charge a $4.95 convenience fee per transaction for this service.

CONSUMERS MUST HAVE THEIR ACCOUNT NUMBER TO MAKE A PAYMENT THROUGH SPEEDPAY.

Access to Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative billing information is not available to Speedpay representatives. In addition to your account number, you will need your checking account number and routing number or credit card number or debit card number to process your transaction. We receive notification of payments daily. Upon completion of a payment transaction, you will be given a confirmation number that you should record and refer to when contacting Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative. If you want us to be immediately notified of your payment, please call customer service with your confirmation number at 803-749-6400 or 1-888-813-9000 during the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.

This website is not responsible for any errors in the information you provide to the system. Any information you provide in this system will only be used for the processing of your payment and will not be shared with any third parties for other uses.

There is a $4.95 processing fee collected by Speedpay for this service. This fee is billed separately and will be reflected as two different entries on your credit card statement or two different checks shown separately on your bank statement.
