To ensure reliable service and keep our Total Power Quality commitment, MCEC encourages members to secure Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, which prevent inconveniences due to blinks and outages. UPS systems provide temporary backup battery power to sensitive electronic equipment.

Blinks are a sign that MCEC's electric distribution is working properly to prevent longer power outages. The system is designed to identify problems and momentarily interrupt power, avoiding outages. With a UPS unit in place, time and data spent on critical projects need not be lost to a power outage or blink.
