Washington Youth Tour Applications Now Available

Attention high school juniors!!  Do you want to spend a week in Washington DC with fellow students from across the United States?  Do you want to meet your state representatives?  Do you want to experience the historic sites of DC?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, you need to apply for the Washington Youth Tour! 

Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative will choose two high school juniors from schools in our service territory to represent the co-op during June 2013 in Washington.  The trip is all expenses paid including hotel, transportation to Washington, meals, and admission to exhibits. 

Applications can be found under the my Community - Youth Tour tab of our website.  Guidance counselors at area high schools also have applications. The deadline to apply is October 26, 2012.
