MCEC Offers Quick, Safe Way to Pay

MCEC provides various payment methods for members. While bank draft is the most popular and highly recommended, Mid-Carolina now offers co-op members the capability to use their VISA card to pay online.

"According to recent studies, automatic payments have for the first time surpassed check writing as the dominant method for paying recurring bills, such as monthly utility bills," explains MCEC CEO Jack F. Wolfe. "We are proud to provide members with a new online payment method which provides them with the convenience and tools they need to streamline their monthly co-op payment."

By enrolling in the online payment plan, you agree to receive your monthly MCEC bill via email and will no longer receive a copy of your bill in the mail.

It's easy to join. Just visit www.mcecoop.com and click on the VISA icon. While at this site, you may elect to pay your bill using a VISA credit or debit card or your checking account. You may also log onto the web site to view your bill. At this time, only VISA cards are accepted.

After enrolling, an email notification will be sent to you each month when your bill is issued.

Only payments made on www.mcecoop.com are reflected on the web site. Please allow 24 hours for your online payments to be posted to your MCEC account.

Payments made via other methods (bank draft, Equal Pay, office, mail, Speedpay , etc.) will not be displayed.

Remember, when mailing a payment it is important to include a copy of the bill.
