West Metro Chamber Honored for Lighting up the Community

In January, Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative presented the Touchstone Energy Innovation Award to West Metro Chamber of Commerce at the Chamber's monthly breakfast meeting. The Cooperative recognized the Chamber for their unique contribution to the community, the annual Holiday Parade of Lights.

The West Metro Chamber's efforts exemplify two of the Touchstone Energy values, commitment to the community and innovation. "As a Touchstone Energy Cooperative, it's important that we support and honor organizations who have our same goals and work hard to improve the quality of life around the community," explained Richardson. "We are proud to recognize them for their achievements, and it is certainly appropriate that the West Metro Chamber's Holiday Parade of Lights should receive this prestigious award and the $1,000 contribution that accompanies it."
