MCEC announces service charge changes

Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative has adjusted its service charges, effective June 1, 2007. The fee changes were determined after a local consulting firm conducted a professional, unbiased study of the cooperative's service charges. Mid-Carolina Electric regularly conducts this process to maintain current and accurate fees. The firm analyzed the co-op's costs for performing various required services. The adjusted charges ensure that any costs incurred by the co-op for particular services are attributed to those who receive those services.
